Meet Dale Huffman, Magician
From childhood, Dale has enjoyed magic. Dale would watch magic shows on television. Dale learned magic on his own by reading books. Dale always enjoyed people so he took a class in magic. He knew then that he wanted to be a magic performer.
Then one day Dale and his girlfriend went to a magic show in Kansas City. Dale saw Bob Klamm (the teacher of his first magic class) at the show. Bob was able to convince Dale to join the Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.) R.W. Klamm Assembly #38. He told his girlfriend, I'm going to join the magic club,” He sat a goal right then and it was: "I want to be on that stage next year performing in front of all those people".
One year later his dream came true. He was on that stage doing his first stage show.
Dale knew he could make his dreams come true just by setting a goal. He conveys this message in his shows.
Dale had another dream to be vice president of the Assembly #38. He made vice president. His next dream was to be the club president. Dale's dream came true, he was the 1995 president of S.A.M. # 38. Dale's next dream is to be a national president for S.A.M. This dream will take a lot of hard work.
Dale is also member in good standing of International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring #129 (I.B.M.) and is the current I.B.M. 2006 close up champion.
Dale has won awards for his performances.
He has performed his show for the following:
American Transplant Foundation (local chapter), Johnson County Library, Lee's Summit Parks & Rec. Jackson County Public Works Picnic, The Jackson County Detention Center, Mid American Rehab. Center, Church Show for Grandview Baptist Church, Cub Scouts, MC'ed Fairmont Community Center Fall Festival, Kansas City, Kansas Main Public Library
Has performed numerous school shows, church shows, and birthday parties. In and around the Kansas City area.
Dale continues to study magic by going to lectures and workshops that are put on by the local I.B.M. and S.A.M.
